Journal History
Journal History
The Indonesian Journal of Health Informatics (IJHI) is being developed as part of the Yayasan Quadra Science Indonesia scholarly publishing initiative. The journal responds to a practical need: modern health systems increasingly depend on reliable, interoperable, and ethically governed information, while researchers and practitioners need a focused place to examine how those systems work in real settings.
Health informatics is changing rapidly through electronic health records, national health-data exchange, clinical terminologies, analytics, and artificial intelligence. IJHI was established to connect research, education, professional practice, and policy around those developments, with particular attention to Indonesia and comparable health-system contexts.
This early implementation phase is focused on establishing transparent editorial workflows, double-anonymous peer review, open-access publishing, clear author guidance, and a durable public record. Dates and milestones are added here only after they have been completed and verified.
Milestones
- 2026: Initial journal setup, editorial development, and preparation for publication.
- August 2026: Canonical public access established at quadrascience.id/ijhi, with expanded journal information, publication policies, and a digital-preservation statement.
- Future milestones: The inaugural issue, confirmed identifiers, preservation-network participation, and indexing achievements will be recorded after formal completion.
